Refund requests should be emailed to contact@first-rate.one with your enrollment reference, legal name, and a short description of the reason. Corporate purchasers should route requests through their procurement contact while copying the learner email for verification.
Timeframe
For eligible self-serve purchases, you may request a full refund within fourteen days of payment provided you have not accessed more than twenty percent of downloadable materials or attended more than one live session, whichever threshold is reached first. After that window, partial credits may be offered case by case as described under eligibility.
Scope
This policy covers tuition-style fees paid directly to ClusterForge Academy for listed programs. It does not cover third-party exam vouchers, travel, or software licenses purchased elsewhere. Enterprise statements of work follow the contract annex unless that annex explicitly incorporates this consumer policy.
Eligibility
Eligibility depends on the product: cohort courses, lab extensions, and coaching blocks carry different access markers. Generally, substantial consumption of live instructor time or bespoke preparation reduces refundable amounts. Bundle discounts may be recalculated if one component is refunded.
Exceptions
No refunds are available for misconduct-related terminations, chargeback abuse, or attempts to circumvent access controls. Promotional seats labeled non-refundable at checkout are excluded. If a cohort is rescheduled by us and the new dates do not work for you, you may choose a credit or refund even outside the standard window.
Process
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen to thirty business days depending on banking partners. You will receive an email confirmation with a reference number. If a refund fails due to closed accounts, we will coordinate an alternate verified channel.
Consumer rights in Korea
Consumers in Korea may have rights under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other statutes. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory rights. Where a mandatory cooling-off period applies differently, those rules supersede conflicting text here.
Partial completion
If you stop participating after the cooling-off window but before completion, we may offer a credit toward a future cohort based on unused live hours. Credits expire twelve months from issuance unless stated otherwise in writing.
Chargebacks and reversals
Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we can investigate. Unfounded chargebacks may lead to account suspension and recovery of fees we incur. Good-faith disputes will be handled cooperatively with evidence from both sides.
